What is Ratlami Sev?
Ratlami Sev is a traditional, spicy namkeen snack made from gram flour (besan) blended with a unique spice mix of cloves (laung), carom seeds (ajwain), black pepper, and asafoetida (hing). It originates from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, and is known for its bold flavour and signature crunch.
What’s the difference between Laung Sev and Lasan Sev?
Laung Sev features a traditional clove-infused spice blend with a warm, aromatic heat – our classic original recipe.
Lasan Sev is made with a bold garlic (lasan) flavour for those who love a sharper, more pungent kick alongside the traditional spice base.
Both are made using the same authentic Ratlami recipe and process – the difference is purely in the signature flavour profile.
Are your products 100% vegetarian?
Yes. All Ratlam’s Heritage products are 100% vegetarian. We do not use any non-vegetarian ingredients in our recipes.
Do your products contain MSG or artificial preservatives?
No. Our products are made using traditional recipes with no added MSG and no artificial preservatives. We use natural spices and ingredients to preserve the authentic Ratlami taste.
Do your products contain allergens?
Our products are made with gram flour (besan) and may contain traces of peanuts and gluten due to shared processing facilities. Please check the ingredients list on the product packaging or product page before purchasing if you have specific allergies. How spicy is Ratlami Sev?
Ratlami Sev is on the spicier end of the namkeen spectrum, with a bold combination of red chilli, black pepper, and warming clove heat. If you’re new to it, we recommend starting with a smaller pack size to gauge your spice tolerance.
What sizes are available?
Our products are available in multiple pack sizes ranging from 100g to 500g, so you can choose based on your snacking needs – from a quick try-out pack to a family-size pack.
Ordering & Payment
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our Shop page, select your desired product and quantity, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You’ll need to provide your shipping address and choose a payment method to complete your order.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD) across most serviceable PIN codes in India.
Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?
Yes, COD is available across India for eligible PIN codes. You’ll see the COD option at checkout if it’s available for your delivery location.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can typically be modified or cancelled only before they are shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible at ratlamsheritage@gmail.com if you need to make changes — once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
Do you offer bulk or corporate orders?

Do you deliver Pan India?
Yes, we currently deliver across India through our trusted logistics partners.
How long does delivery take?

Is shipping free?
We offer free shipping on orders above ₹360. Orders below this threshold may incur a nominal shipping charge, calculated at checkout.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link via email and/or SMS. You can also track your order anytime on our Track My Order page.
What if my order is delayed?
While we strive to dispatch and deliver orders within the estimated timeframe, delays can occasionally occur due to courier or regional factors outside our control. If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us at ratlamsheritage@gmail.com, and we’ll help track it down.
Freshness & Storage
How long does Ratlami Sev stay fresh?
When stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, our sev stays fresh for up to 2 months from the manufacturing date (refer to the “Use By” date printed on your pack).
How should I store Ratlami Sev after opening?
Once opened, transfer the sev to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing it to humidity or direct sunlight, as this can affect the crunch and freshness.
Is your packaging resealable?
Our packs are designed to maintain freshness during shipping. For best results after opening, we recommend transferring contents to an airtight container if you don’t plan to finish the pack within a few days.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
Since our products are food items, returns are accepted only in cases of damaged, defective, or incorrect items received. Please refer to our full Return & Refund Policy for complete details.
What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at ratlamsheritage@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the damaged/incorrect item. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as per our Return & Refund Policy.
How long does a refund take to process?
Once approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method within the timeframe specified in our Return & Refund Policy, typically within 7–10 business days.
