For when you don’t know which one they’d like
Ratlam makes its sev two ways. One is built on clove — warm, aromatic, the version that made the city’s name. The other is built on garlic – sharper, saltier, the one people get loyal to. Ask anyone from Ratlam which is better, and you will get an answer, firmly.
Someone who has never eaten Ratlami sev has no such opinion yet. The Pair: Premium Ratlami Sev Gift Box is how you let them form one: 250g of each, in a box, with a card that says what they are looking at.
What’s inside
- 250g Ratlami Laung Sev — clove-forward, warm, the original
- 250g Ratlami Lasan Sev — roasted garlic, sharper and more savoury
- A printed card on what Ratlami Sev is, and how the two differ
Each sev is sealed in its own food-grade pouch inside the box, so the garlic stays on its own side and nothing has gone soft by the time it arrives.
Made in Ratlam, and that is the whole point
Both sevs are made in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh – not Ujjain, not Indore – in small batches under FSSAI licence 21426810000131. No MSG, no artificial preservatives, no added colour, no maida. A gift that comes from a specific place is a better gift than a gift that comes from a category.
Free delivery, anywhere in India

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Laung Sev and Lasan Sev?
Same besan base, same Ratlami masala, different lead note. Laung Sev is built on clove — warmer and more aromatic. Lasan Sev is built on roasted garlic — sharper and more savoury. Most people prefer one strongly, which is exactly why this box has both.
How spicy is it?
Around 7 out of 10 — noticeably hotter than a Bikaneri bhujia. If you are gifting to someone who avoids chilli, this is not the right box. Here is the honest comparison.
Can I send it directly to someone else?
Yes – enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. No invoice or pricing goes inside the box.
Will it arrive in time for Diwali?
Order at least seven days ahead. Courier networks across India slow noticeably in the fortnight before the festival, so earlier is genuinely safer.
Is there a bigger version?
Yes — The Ratlam Box, with 500g of each sev and 250g of Ratlami Mixture.
